About Our Lead Pastor
Pastor Bankole Joseph is a devoted pastor, teacher, and mentor with a heart for empowering young people to know and serve the Lord. He is the lead pastor of Joyful City Church, a thriving church in Ibadan, Nigeria, where he has been faithfully teaching God’s Word with simplicity and clarity, resulting in all-round transformation.
With a strong passion for campus ministry, Pastor Bankole Joseph organizes campus outreaches with the theme “REFRESH,” creating opportunities for students to encounter God’s love and power. His commitment to raising a new generation of leaders who are deeply rooted in their faith is evident in his investment of time, energy, and resources into the lives of young people.
He is the author of “REFRESH DEVOTIONAL,” a daily devotional that has become an anchor and companion to many believers in their walk of faith.
A loving husband and father, Pastor Bankole is blessed with a supportive wife, Damilola, and two wonderful children, Josh and Kharis. Together, he and his wife serve as pastors to Joyful City Church.
Through his teaching, mentoring, and outreach efforts, Pastor Bankole Joseph continues to inspire and equip believers to live out their faith with purpose, passion, and endless delight.
